Water District Completes First Meter Readings, Pumpers “scared” of Drought Measures

The City of Laredo includes in its 2022 master plan the possibility of importing water from pumpers in Kinney County, from wells northwest of Brackettville. This area could provide 22 million gallons a day of "excellent" water containing only 230 to 390 mg/l of TDS, or milligrams per liter of total dissolved solids.
