The countdown is on for Wreaths Across America Day – December 13th, when our community will once again come together to remember the fallen, honor those who serve, and teach the next generation the value of freedom. This year’s goal is to sponsor 25 wreaths each week for the next six weeks — enough to ensure that every veteran’s resting place in Kinney County is honored with a beautiful, hand-made wreath. Each wreath costs $17, and every sponsorship helps cover local cemeteries including the Kinney County Cemetery, Seminole Indian Scout Cemetery, Veteran’s Cemetery, Masonic Cemetery, and Ballantyne Cemetery.

Let’s show that our small community’s gratitude is as big as our heroes’ sacrifice.
